FocusPal collects anonymous usage data including: emotional state selected, therapy path used, anonymous session rating (1-5 stars), and session outcome. No personal identity information is collected.
Data is used solely for academic research to understand the effectiveness of emotional micro-interventions on focus and procrastination. Results may be used in academic publications.
Session data is stored locally in your browser via localStorage. Anonymous aggregate data is sent to a secure Google Sheets database accessible only to the researcher.
